Weihrich Informatik is one of the largest IT service providers in the Kreuzlingen region with a long-standing customer base in Eastern Switzerland/German-speaking Switzerland. We advise companies on their IT strategy and implement solutions that are optimally tailored to customers and their employees. The focus is on personal consulting: together with the customer, solutions are developed that sustainably optimize overall IT costs and are convincing in the long term – through services and products that meet the highest requirements. Weihrich Informatik is an ISO 9001 and 27001 certified company.
With the certification according to 9001, Weihrich Informatik underlines its high standards of efficient quality management, process orientation and transparency. With the established quality management system, work processes are continuously improved – for the benefit of all customers.
The 27001 certification for information security is particularly important. The audited information security management system (ISMS) emphasizes Weihrich Informatik’s claim when it comes to the security, confidentiality and availability of data in the digital and physical world.
Weihrich Informatik now employs more than a dozen people, actively cultivates partnerships with renowned companies and has already received the coveted Studerus Project Award several times for its innovative IT solutions.
Since its foundation, our company has been based in Kreuzlingen, Canton Thurgau, on Lake Constance. Our offices are located at Alleestrasse 20.

Innovative projects and commitment to young professionals
In 2012, the company was honored with the Studerus Project Award, an award presented annually by Studerus AG for an exceptional project in the field of information technology. In this case, the award recognized the planning and implementation of a technically sophisticated LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure for a company campus in Africa. In addition to geographical challenges, the project focused on integrating a mobile warehouse solution and addressing the security requirements of three different user groups.
In 2013, the Weihrich Informatik team received the Project Award for the second time. The submitted project impressed the jury “because it used a wide variety of network products to meet the customer’s high expectations in an innovative and unique way,” according to the expert jury’s statement. Separate networks ensure optimal security for the customer, while fiber optics deliver high performance and the network as a whole offers high availability. In 2021, Weihrich Informatik once again received the Studerus Project Award. The jury praised the innovative and technically sophisticated project at the Abendfrieden retirement and nursing home. Over 130 access points ensure seamless Wi-Fi coverage. The network meets high security requirements through separate zones for staff, residents, and guests.
Because we want to actively counteract the shortage of IT specialists and because training the next generation of professionals is important to us, we train apprentices in the field of IT. Our Managing Director Thomas Weihrich has also been working as an audit expert for many years.
