As part of the modernization of our IT infrastructure, we commissioned Weihrich Informatik GmbH to replace our previous, disparate firewall landscape with a high-performance, centralized solution. Weihrich Informatik developed and implemented a new, well-thought-out firewall concept for us that centrally manages all networks and is tailored to our future needs.

Of particular note is the transition of our Internet connection to a redundant 10G solution via two independent providers: This provides us with a high level of reliability and flexibility, and has resulted in significant cost savings by consolidating what were previously many individual connections.

In addition, Weihrich Informatik implemented a comprehensive XDR solution that effectively protects endpoints, our Active Directory, the firewall, and our cloud environment (Microsoft 365 / Azure). This has enabled us to elevate our entire IT security architecture to a new, holistic level.

As part of our relocation and restructuring, we worked with Weihrich Informatik to realign our entire IT landscape. All central services, such as the ERP system, the local Active Directory, and our entire Office environment, were professionally and seamlessly migrated to the cloud—using Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and SharePoint. The transition of our telephony system to Microsoft Teams also went exceptionally well and now enables us to communicate flexibly, regardless of location.

One particular benefit for us is the integration of CAD data into the cloud. This allows us to access all plans anywhere and at any time—especially right on our construction sites—and thus work even more efficiently.
