Thomas Weihrich, owner and managing director

As a trained machine mechanic, Thomas Weihrich studied computer science in Winterthur and Rapperswil. Before founding his own company in 2003, he held management positions in various companies in Germany and abroad, where he had overall responsibility for numerous successful IT projects. For him, IT is a useful link between people and processes, because an optimally coordinated IT infrastructure reduces a company’s overall costs and increases productivity at the same time. Thomas Weihrich clearly focuses on constant communication with the customer and on jointly developing the best solution for the customer.

Martina Weihrich, Head of Administration and Finance

Martina Weihrich studied business administration and, following several further training courses in the field of public relations, was initially responsible for internal communications and public relations in various international companies for more than ten years. At Weihrich Informatik, she is responsible for administration and finance and enjoys the challenges that her job entails. She values personal contact with customers and suppliers and, together with her team, ensures that everything runs smoothly “behind the scenes”.

Eduard Stoppel, Office Management and Sales

After completing his training as an office management assistant, Eduard Stoppel gained several years of experience as a versatile business professional in the IT industry. He applies his strengths in customer communication, organization, and order processing in a targeted manner every day. Since July 2025, Eduard Stoppel has been working in office management and internal sales at Weihrich Informatik. He values the variety of his tasks and always works in a structured, efficient, and responsible manner to contribute to the success of the customers, the company, and the team.

Christian Ackermann, computer scientist

As a trained IT specialist with many years of professional experience, Christian Ackermann takes an analytical and efficient approach to the tasks involved in installing, configuring and maintaining hardware and software components, diagnosing and rectifying technical faults and problems in the IT environment. His strong communication skills and high degree of customer orientation help him to quickly recognize customer needs and implement effective solutions. A collegial team that shares his passion for excellent customer service and the opportunity for continuous professional and personal development further motivate him to give his best for our customers every day.

Jannik Baun, computer scientist

Jannik Baun has the ideal backpack for his work at Weihrich Informatik, not least thanks to his Master’s degree in computer science. In his previous professional career, Jannik Baun has already demonstrated his ability to successfully set up, manage and optimize overall IT systems. With his particular soft spot and knowledge of organizational structures, Jannik Baun always focuses on the user and the benefits for the client company. Another focus of his work is IT security. Jannik Baun particularly appreciates the mixture of customer consulting and project implementation at Weihrich Informatik and, above all, the cooperation with customers.

Thomas Funhoff, computer scientist

After completing his apprenticeship as a computer scientist specializing in systems engineering, Thomas Funhoff earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the ZHAW School of Engineering. He gained his first professional experience in the field of network technology and security while still a student. Today, he enthusiastically applies his expertise and experience to the further development and optimization of IT systems. At Weihrich Informatik, he also focuses on the field of artificial intelligence.

Weihrich Informatik GmbH Christoph Müller Diehl

Christoph Müller-Diehl, computer scientist

After training as an IT systems electronics technician, Christoph Müller-Diehl worked for many years as an IT systems engineer at a Swiss media service provider. During this time, he was responsible for the planning, administration and operation of several networks, the connected server and storage systems and the numerous workstations. He also has extensive and well-founded expertise in the professional video and audio sector. Christoph Müller-Diehl is an ICT system administrator at Weihrich Informatik. He particularly appreciates the daily changing challenges and the teamwork.

Weihrich Informatik GmbH Josua Niederastroth

Josua Niederastroth, computer scientist

After training as an IT specialist in system integration and gaining several years of professional experience in support, Josua Niederastroth worked for IT service providers in Thurgau. He has been working for Weihrich Informatik since September 2019. Having supported SMEs of various sizes with different IT landscapes, he has experience of numerous IT solutions. Advanced technologies and comprehensive IT solutions fuel his commitment every day.

Raul Murcia, computer scientist

Raul Murcia began his training as an IT specialist (EFZ) with a focus on business informatics in the summer of 2022. He discovered his passion for technology at an early age, and even while still in school, Raul helped family and friends with their computer problems. Unsurprisingly, various work experience placements confirmed that he had made the right career choice. Raul successfully completed his apprenticeship in 2026.

Arda Yelocagi, 4th-year apprentice

Since August 2023, Arda Yelocagi has been training at Weihrich Informatik to become an EFZ computer scientist specializing in business informatics. His interest in this profession was strengthened by several trial apprenticeships in various companies. Arda gained many impressions that convinced him to pursue this educational path. At the same time as training at the training center for technology, Arda attends the vocational baccalaureate school. To balance out his demanding training, Arda spends time in nature and listens to music.

Morris Duncan, 2nd-year apprentice

Morris Duncan began his apprenticeship as a computer scientist (EFZ) specializing in platform development in the summer of 2025. He developed an interest in computer science in school, and his desire to pursue this career path was confirmed during his trial apprenticeships. The open house at Weihrich Informatik convinced him of the quality of the training program and the team. In addition to his challenging apprenticeship, Morris enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends or learning languages.

Alessio Celi, 1st-year apprentice starting in the summer of 2026

Alessio Celi will begin his apprenticeship as a computer scientist specializing in platform development in the summer of 2026. In this forward-looking program, he will learn to design, develop, and operate complex IT systems and platforms. With this step, Alessio is laying the foundation for a promising career in the IT industry and looks forward to applying his technical knowledge in practice and continually expanding his skills.

Elias Hahn, 1st-year apprentice starting in the summer of 2026

Elias Hahn will begin his apprenticeship as a computer scientist specializing in platform development in the summer of 2026.
